About Us

Fans For Christ (FFC) was started in 2005 out of a desire to connect with fellow geeky Christians and a desire to show members of all fandoms that God loves them too. Seeing average churches missing out on a chance to connect with the “freaks” of society, both Christian and non-Christian, FFC hoped to fill that role in some way. The first event was at Dragon Con in Atlanta, GA with a small banner and a simple fan table. The website for FFC had a forum (more common then) that allowed people from all over the country and the world to connect to talk about Jesus, share prayer requests, get recommendations on Goth music, help each other with cosplay ideas, debate where the Star Wars franchise would go, and so many more things. Over the years FFC’s reach and membership grew, eventually spreading to cons across the southeast and Midwest, including the Carolinas, Washington, DC, and Cincinnati. Our first con church service occurred in 2007 at Dragon Con, over the years outgrowing the spaces available. We still hold services at any con that will allow us to

Our Events

Most of our interactions are at fandom cons of all kinds, hosting fan tables for people to meet us, talk to us, and learn more about FFC and Jesus Christ. We want to show other fans that yes, we’re just as weird and geeky as they are and can happily talk to them about the Bible or the next Star Trek show. We also have an online presence through Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), Discord, and YouTube. In this way we can reach people anywhere there is an internet connection!

We are always looking for new events to attend, so you may just see us coming to a con near you!
